1. I want to return a purchased item. What should I do?

According to the legislation of the Republic of Latvia, goods purchased in online stores can be returned to the seller within 14 days from the date of purchase. See more details under Right of withdrawal.

2. What should I do if the order packaging is damaged?
When you receive your order, you MUST check the contents, quality and quantity of the shipment.
If you notice that the order packaging is damaged, fill out the Order Damage Report together with the delivery courier. The report will be given to you by the courier and together with the courier, record the damage, take photos. It is advisable not to accept such shipments from the courier and we will contact you as soon as possible.
If you receive the shipment and sign for receipt without complaints, it is assumed that you received the shipment in good condition.

3. I received a poor quality product, what should I do?
Customers who wish to file a complaint about a poor-quality product can contact the office within 14 days of receiving the order and fill out the return form or fill out the return form in PDF format, WORD format and send it to e-mail info@lawood.lv.

4. I picked up the item at the office and only noticed it was damaged when I got home. Can I return this item and what is the return period?
We strongly recommend that you check the packaging, quantity, quality and assembly of the goods upon receipt.
In the event of non-compliance with the packaging, quantity, quality, assortment and assembly of the goods, the Buyer has the right not to accept the Goods.
If the Buyer receives the goods without any complaints, the goods shall be deemed to comply with the terms of the Agreement.

5. How can a complaint about a poor-quality product be resolved?
When submitting a complaint, the buyer must indicate how he wants the claim to be resolved:

  1. the seller shall eliminate the defects of the goods free of charge within a reasonable period of time, if the defects are remediable;
  2. reducing the purchase price accordingly;
  3. Replacement of the product with an analogue product of appropriate quality, except in cases where the defects are minor or caused by the buyer's fault;
  4. by returning the price paid for the goods and canceling the contract if the poor quality goods constitute a material breach of the order.
6. How long can it take to resolve a complaint?

The complaint will be reviewed within 14 days from the moment we receive your application.

7. After how many days will I get my money back for a damaged/poor quality product?
The money will be returned to the buyer's account within 14 calendar days from the date of return of the item.


8. Where can I return the damaged item?

The damaged product can be returned to Jaunolaine, Mehāniskās darbnīcas by informing us by e-mail info@lawood.lv and we will provide information about the remaining steps. Before returning the damaged product, please fill out the return form in PDF format in WORD format.

10. What is the return period for new goods?
A new product can be returned within 14 days.
The product can be returned if it is not used, damaged or its appearance has not changed significantly, that is, the appearance of the product or its packaging has been changed only to the extent necessary for viewing the received product.
The buyer must exercise this right responsibly and return the product in its original, neat packaging, as well as return all parts of the product.

11. Is it possible to return all types of goods?

The right to return quality goods purchased in an online store does not apply to:

  1. if you have purchased an audio or video recording, or a computer program and opened its packaging;
  2. The product is perishable or will soon expire;
  3. The product is manufactured according to the Buyer's instructions or the product is clearly personalized (customized to the Buyer's personal needs);
  4. if you have opened the packaging for the product, as well as if you have started using it, a product that cannot be returned for health and hygiene reasons (such products as - baby clothing, baby toys, baby care products, medical or surgical devices, shoes and clothing, underwear, socks and tights, perfumes, in-ear audio headphones, toothbrush, epilator, beard razor, beard/hair trimmer, hair straighteners, perfumery, cosmetics and body care products, and other similar products)
  5. The product, due to its properties, has irreversibly mixed with other things after delivery;
  6. newspapers, periodicals or magazines are delivered, except if they are delivered under a subscription contract.
12. What are the conditions for returning new goods?

To return a new item, the item must be unused, undamaged and in its original condition. The appearance of the item or its packaging may only be changed to the extent necessary to inspect the item upon receipt. The item must be returned in its original packaging and in its original condition.

13. Can legal entities return purchased goods within 14 days?

Unfortunately, it is not possible for legal entities to return goods purchased in the online store.
