📦 What is the right of withdrawal?

When purchasing goods in the Lawood online store, as a consumer you have the right to exercise your right of withdrawal and withdraw from a distance contract within the specified period without giving a reason.

The procedure and time limits for exercising the right of withdrawal are determined by the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia.

📅 1. How long can I exercise the right of withdrawal?

The right of withdrawal can be exercised within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the goods.

If an order contains several goods that are delivered separately, the 14-day period is counted from the day the last product is received.

If a product is delivered in several batches or parts, the period is counted from the day the last batch or part is received.

The 14-day period starts on the following calendar day.

📝 2. How do I exercise the right of withdrawal?

To exercise the right of withdrawal, inform Lawood of your decision to withdraw from the distance contract.

Please provide:

• order number;
• the product you wish to return;
• that you wish to exercise the right of withdrawal.

The withdrawal notice can be sent to [email protected].

📄 You can also use our withdrawal form to exercise the right of withdrawal.

💬 Please indicate the reason for the return if possible. This is not required in order to exercise the right of withdrawal, but it helps us understand our customers' preferences and improve our products and service.

📦 3. When must the product be returned?

After notifying us of your decision to exercise the right of withdrawal, the product must be delivered or sent to Lawood no later than within 14 days from the day the withdrawal notice was sent.

The deadline is met if the product is handed over or sent before the end of the 14-day period.

📌 Keep the proof of shipment or handover until the return process has been fully completed.

🔍 4. In what condition must the product be returned?

The product may be examined and checked to the extent that would be possible when purchasing the product in a physical store.

The product must be returned in a condition that preserves its quality and safety.

If the product has been used more than necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, functionality and operation, the consumer may be responsible for the reduction in the value of the product.

📦 Before sending the product, pack it carefully so that it is not damaged during transportation. If possible, use the original packaging or other suitable and secure packaging.

💵 5. When will I receive my refund?

After receiving the withdrawal notice, Lawood will refund the payments received no later than within 14 days, subject to the conditions established by applicable laws and regulations.

The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original payment, unless another agreement has been reached with the customer.

🚚 In the event of withdrawal, the delivery costs paid for the product will also be refunded, except for any additional costs resulting from choosing a more expensive delivery method than the cheapest standard delivery method offered by Lawood.

Lawood has the right to withhold the refund until the returned product has been received or proof of its return has been provided, whichever occurs first.

📌 The customer is responsible for the costs of returning the product, unless otherwise provided by applicable laws and regulations.

🚫 6. Can the right of withdrawal be exercised for all products?

No. Laws and regulations provide for cases where the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised.

For example, the right of withdrawal may not apply:

• if the product is perishable or its expiry date is about to expire;
• if the product has been manufactured according to the customer's specifications or is clearly personalised;
• if the product, after delivery, has been inseparably mixed with other items due to its nature;
• if sealed products that are unsuitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene have been unsealed after delivery;
• if sealed audio or video recordings or computer software packaging has been unsealed.

⚠️ 7. What should I check when receiving the product?

When receiving the product, please make sure that it corresponds to your order — manufacturer, model, size, colour and other important parameters.

If the packaging is visibly damaged at the time of delivery, we recommend asking the courier to record this in the delivery documents.

If the product is damaged, defective or you have received a different product than ordered, please do not send it back immediately. First contact Lawood customer support, provide your order number and attach photographs. We will inform you about the next steps.

The complaint will be reviewed within 7 business days from the date of receipt, and the response will be sent to the contact address specified in the complaint.

If your complaint is found to be unfounded and you do not agree with this decision, you have the right to use the alternative dispute resolution options provided for by applicable laws and regulations.
